Daniel Baremboim master class

So far videos with wonderfull life performances have been presented in this website, but know I would like to take the opportunity in this post to present a video of educational nature. Maestro Daniel Baremboim is giving a life master class to internationally recognized pianist Lang Lang. The Piece playing is the Beethoven Sonata in f minor (Apassionata). It is very interesting to see why Baremboim is not only a great pianist, but also a great artist.

The Cadenza of the Rach 3

Yefim Bronfman is the soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Valery Gergiev. Suntory Hall, Tokyo, November 21, 2004

This is one of the best recordings of the cadneza I have ever seen/heard. Mr. Bronfman's techniche, direction and emotion blend perfectly to depict a wonderful performance of the Rachmaninoff third concerto. enjoy!
